I am lucky to have a few poker mentors, (DonkyKong), one of whom has redefined my online bankroll management and single table strategy.

We started at session one with an account having -100% ROI, which in 3 sessions cleared all previous losses to hit a +10% ROI.

The strategy relies more on chip equity and game pyschology then cards.  In fact cards barely matter.

My last session I multied (4) 10 players, finishing first in (2) and bubbling the other 2 in 4th.

I must admit to then getting cocky, straying from the plan and seeing this number again take a dive.  Currently I am applying it at three sites.  Each started with a $10 deposit.  I have been playing $1.20 at Stars, .50 cent at VC and $2.40 at CD Poker.  I was then put again one track when the teach took my hand histories and presented me with both a visual and mathematical indicators that were accompanied by comments.

I now find it very usefull and helpfull to mentaly picture the graphs and ploted curves when I approach crucial or my problem areas in the tourney.  He graphed against a line depecting his own play at the same stages.

Here is a sample graph he used to plot $10-$20 SNGs with a 92% ROI.  Now this is where I need to get to!

It has over a month since the initial deposits with out a reload and about 150 games.  One sits at 7% ROI, one at -1% and one at 150%  My 45-300 player MTT is sitting at 52% consitently applying many of the same fundementals and principles.  The link better explains it.

My mentor has used this same method to advance through levels consitently.  While coaching me, he played at the $10 level and has progressed to the $20 SNG buy in averaging a 30 to 40% ROI consitently.  While multitabling 4 tables he is making $50 to $100 per hour.

But since we are talking about sngs and multitabling, an interesting 2nd experiment arose.  A post from a fellow member told of a PokerStars pro being barred on accusations of being a bot when it was found he multied 24 at a time.  He then created a youtube post of 26 games played at the same time.  They reenstated him immediatly.

Always up for a challenge, DonkyKong first tried 10, 15 and then 20.  His next target is 26.

The results are pretty cool.  Here is the link for a full break down, known as \”DonkyKongs Lair\”.  Just scroll down to the first video when you get there:
