The month of June.  The WSOP is buzzing with action.  Players from around the globe looking to score a sweet title and a whack of cash.

Many people are looking to see which top pro\’s will countinue their reign.  I have my favorites, but this year I am routing for the underdogs, the internationally \”unknowns.\”

I am greatful to have been given the oppurtunity to have my poker thoughts featured as Blog of the Month.

This month I hope that while players pop in at pokerweblogs, they follow the progress of players looking to make their mark.  And not just at WSOP.  I also encourage everyone with a story to tell to start your own pokerweblog.  Let\’s put it out there!

The Big Slick Poker Tour Alberta has a champion pick going down.  We will catch up with that story.

As well, Bo Fric, a top Canadian is looking to get some, after the unfourtunate demise of the Poker Bucket List.  Rumor has it \”DC\” just might hit the PLO games hard and they better look out if he does.

All my different forum friends, from many different countries have their own ringers looking to do some damage.  These are my picks and the stories I will follow.  Chef1 from DCR, looking to take down a ladies event.  WPTBOUND from BTF another American lady, just won her seat.  Will the Queen Bee from Australia migrate to Vegas and bring her killer sting?

Besides the WSOP, a few players in the Big Slick Poker Tour Alberta are going to walk away mid June with some sweet seats into some big prize pools.  An oppurtunity to take their game to \”The Next Level\”.

June is a month of Poker Dreams, of the up and comers, the next crop of ruthless sharks! 

Will any take down the big score?

It\’s been done before, either way this is what the game is about, taking your shot.  Play hard, dream big.  The next 30 days will tell.
